Dawn Heumann is a commercial and editorial photographer who works in Alaska every chance she gets. Six trips north and counting: fishing boats out of Homer, remote Aleutian islands, wild food, and the people who work these waters.

Her long-running partnership with the Salmon Sisters has produced cookbooks, brand campaigns, and editorial features shot across the state. She brings nearly twenty years of commercial production experience to places where weather and tide set the schedule, and she packs light enough to keep up.
